A three-member division bench headed by Justice Yahya Afridi heard the petition, Justice Mazahar Naqvi and Justice Musarat Hilali heard the Quetta lawyer murder case in which the Chairman of PTI appeared, The Supreme Court has ordered not to arrest the PTI chairman in the case of the murder of lawyer Abdul Razzaq Shar in Quetta until the next hearing.
The Supreme Court adjourned the hearing of the PTI chairman’s petition in the Quetta lawyer murder case till August 9.
In its order, the court said that the Chairman PTI should appear again on August 9.
The Supreme Court adjourned the hearing of the case at the request of the complainant.
Prosecutor General Balochistan has submitted an investigation report on the nomination of chairman PTI in the Supreme Court of Pakistan in the case of the murder of lawyer Abdul Razzaq Shar.
In the investigation report of the Prosecutor, General Balochistan submitted to the Supreme Court, it has been stated that according to the FIR, the victim had filed an Article 6 case against the Chairman PTI.
According to the investigation report of the Prosecutor General Balochistan, the victim was being threatened for applying Article 6 against the Chairman PTI.
It is stated in the investigation report that during the investigation, a 7-member JIT was formed by the Ministry of Interior on June 8, 8 meetings of the JIT have been held so far under the chairmanship of DIG CTD
In the investigation report of the Prosecutor General Balochistan, it is said that in the first meeting of the JIT, it was decided to summon the accused, and summoning notices were sent to Chairman PTI on June 19.
According to the investigation report, it was decided to investigate 4 suspects including Chairman PTI in the case, the statements of the deceased’s wife and 2 brothers have also been recorded.
In the investigation report of the Prosecutor General Balochistan, it has been further stated that despite sending notices several times, Chairman PTI has not been involved in the investigation till now and investigations are underway in the case.
The SC had summoned Chairman PTI in his personal capacity today on the request to remove the name of Chairman PTI from the FIR of the murder case of lawyer Abdul Razzaq Shar in Quetta and sought a written reply from the Prosecutor General Balochistan which has been submitted today.
It should be noted that senior lawyer Abdul Razzaq was shot by unknown persons while going to court from his house near Aaq Chowk on Airport Road in Quetta.
He died on the spot due to bullet injuries in the head and chest.
Abdul Razzaq Shar had filed an application in the Balochistan High Court to register a case of high treason under Article 6 against the Chairman of PTI for violating the constitution as Prime Minister.
