Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Asim Munir on Monday said they have decided to bring Pakistan out of the current crisis in any case as Pak Army is proud to serve its nation.
The Army Chief addressed the opening ceremony of the Khanewal Model Agriculture Farm under the ‘Green Initiative’ project on Monday. Army Chief Gen Asim said Pakistanis are a proud, zealous, and talented nation and the army is from the people and the people from the army.
He said all Pakistanis should throw away the beggar’s bowl as Allah Almighty has blessed Pakistan with all the blessings.
He added that no power in the world can stop us from progressing and agricultural revolution will occur in Pakistan in any case.
The army chief announced the establishment of modern farms in the style of the Khanewal Model Agriculture Farm for the benefit of small farmers and said the scope of the Green Initiative will be spread throughout Pakistan.
Gen Asim said the state is like a mother and the relationship between the people and the state is one of love and respect.
About the economy and security of the country, he said security and the economy go hand in hand and an economy without security and security without an economy is impossible.
Addressing the participants of the ceremony, the Army Chief read Allama Iqbal’s poetry and emphasized the importance of every individual in the nation in the development of the nation.
