The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) in Balochistan successfully neutralized four terrorists following a fierce gun battle within the Pishin district.
Acting on received intelligence, CTD operatives initiated a targeted operation in the Sarkhab locality of Pishin with the aim of apprehending members associated with a proscribed extremist organization.
The operation led to a high-stakes firefight between the law enforcement team and the terrorists. As a result of the exchange, all four militants were incapacitated.
Within the militants’ concealed hideout, the CTD unit discovered a cache of weaponry, explosives, and ammunition. These resources underscored the group’s involvement in grievous offenses such as homicides and abductions.
A spokesperson for the CTD conveyed that the eliminated terrorists were actively scheming to execute acts of insurgency within the region.
