To bolster security measures and align with global standards, the government plans to deploy 29 cutting-edge baggage scanning machines across the nation’s major airports. This installation is expected to be finalized by either November or December.
Additionally, more than 30 state-of-the-art walkthrough gates, featuring the latest technology, are slated for installation at these airports. Tenders for their procurement have already been issued.
Of the 30 gates, 20 will be promptly put into operation, while the remaining 10 will be deployed as needed.
