In the latest development of  Sarah Sharif’s murder case in Britain, Irfan Sharif, stepmother Benish Batool, and the victim’s uncle Faisal have been arrested in Pakistan.

According to to reports, the three were arrested from Sialkot last night, currently, the police are reluctant to confirm the arrest.

Police found the body of the Polish mother’s daughter Sarah at home on August 10 and confirmed that three members of the family had fled to Pakistan with the children a day before the body was found. British agencies are in touch with Pakistan to search for the murder.

British police were called about Sarah’s death by the 41-year-old father, who had arrived in Islamabad with his 29-year-old wife Benish Batul and his 28-year-old brother Faisal Mali before being questioned in the UK.

A few days ago Benish Batool shared a video with her husband Irfan Sharif claiming that Sara’s death was a normal incident. According to Benish, our family is being harassed in Pakistan, we are hiding because the police will torture us The stepmother who will kill us further said that she is ready to cooperate with the British authorities in the investigation of the murder.

Earlier, Sara’s uncle Imran Sharif had also told the police in Pakistan that the family’s position is that Sara had fallen down the stairs at home due to which her neck was broken. Benish panicked and called Irfan. Surrey Police say that a post-mortem examination revealed that Sarah had several deep wounds on her body which were likely to have been present for a long time.
