Miss Universe Pakistan Erica Rabin and Miss Universe Bahrain Lujan Yaqoob have been appointed as Halal Food Tourism Ambassadors in the Philippines.
The decision was announced by the Philippine Department of Tourism during a news conference in Makati City on Saturday, which was attended by Queen Hassan of Pakistan and Bahrain.
Both have arrived in the Philippines to prepare for the 72nd Miss Universe Pageant which will be held on November 18, 2023 in El Salvador.
Philippine Department of Tourism and San Benito Farm are working together to promote halal food and healthy tourism campaigns.
