The Lahore High Court (LHC) has announced its decision on Khadija Shah’s bail pleas in the Askari Tower and Jinnah House attack cases.
A two-member bench headed by Justice Alia Neelam of the Lahore High Court issued the decision.
The bails of the two accused Rubina and Qasim were also approved. The court said in the decision that protesting is the culture of our society and no one can be stopped from protesting.
The lawyer questioned that if Khadija Shah named in the FIR?
During the hearing, the Special Prosecutor said in the court that Khadija Shah’s name is not named in the FIR.
She is accused of raising slogans against the state, her statement was recorded after the identification parade, she kept inciting people and uploaded pictures from her account.
The court inquired what is illegal in Khadija Shah’s statement saying that the honor of mothers and sisters is not protected.
The court also expressed its displeasure for not presenting the relevant records.
The police have filed charges related to the attack on Corps Commander House Lahore in the case filed against Khadija Shah. Khadija Shah is in jail.
Khadija Shah was presented to the court and remained silent and did not answer the questions.
