PTI Chairman Imran Khan’s message to the people of Pakistan shared through his family on the 10th of October, reflects on his time in prison and his unwavering commitment to the nation:
“When I was illegally incarcerated in Attock Jail, the first few days were particularly challenging. I wasn’t provided a bed and had to sleep on the floor, with insects and mosquitoes all around. However, with time, I have adjusted to the prison conditions.”
“Let it be known that there’s a fundamental difference between the Imran Khan of today and the Imran Khan who was imprisoned on August 5th. Today, I am stronger and more determined than ever before.”
“During my time in prison, I have had the opportunity to study and research the Holy Quran in depth, along with other books that have strengthened my faith. I also used this period for introspection, reflecting on the last few years of my political journey.”
“Regardless of the prison’s conditions or the obstacles they impose upon me, I will not waver in my quest for Haqeeqi Azadi, for upholding the rule of law and the Constitution of Pakistan, which is rooted in free and fair elections. To those suggesting that I leave the country, know that I will live and die in Pakistan, and I will not abandon my homeland.”
“As for the Cipher case, it is a fabricated attempt to shield former Army Chief General Bajwa and Donald Lu. As the elected Prime Minister, treason was committed against me and my government by General Bajwa. Instead of investigating the foreign conspiracy behind orchestrating a regime change, a case has been filed against me for informing the people of Pakistan, the true defenders of this country, about this treason.”
“One thing that deeply troubles me is the suffering of my workers who have been unjustly imprisoned, particularly our women workers who have been held in captivity for months. I appeal to the judiciary to deliver justice and order the immediate release of our workers.”
“In conclusion, I urge you not to lose hope. This time of trial will pass, for Allah says, ‘With every difficulty, there is ease.’ Continue to raise your voice against this unelected predatory group and their facilitators at every opportunity, demanding a fair and transparent election in our beloved country.”
“I predict that on the day of the election, the people of Pakistan will turn out in large numbers to vote for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and collectively defeat all these parties. No matter how much they deceive, their ultimate fate is defeat. Pakistan Zindabad
