A group of celebrated Indian artists, led by the well-known actor Guppy Grewal, recently crossed the historic Kartarpur Corridor to visit the revered Kartarpur Sahib Gurdwara in Pakistan.

The delegation of Indian artists was warmly received by their Pakistani counterparts, including actors Iftikhar Thakur, Nasir Chiniotty, acclaimed film director Syed Noor, and Sheikh Abid, who extended a cordial welcome.

The historic Kartarpur Corridor, inaugurated in November 2019, is a symbol of peace and goodwill, serving as a bridge of connection between the two nations. It allows Sikh pilgrims from India to visit the Kartarpur Sahib Gurdwara, the final resting place of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, without the need for a visa.

The Indian artist delegation, which included prominent figures like Bannu Dhillon, Karamjeet Anmol, Tannu Grewal, and Hashnain Chauhan, paid their respects at Darbar Sahib Kartarpur, a site of immense spiritual significance. This visit was marked not only by solemn prayers but also by warm interactions and shared moments of artistry. Pakistani and Indian artists came together, capturing the essence of unity, taking photographs, and creating cherished memories.

The Kartarpur Corridor continues to stand as a testament to the shared heritage and the potential for collaboration and peace between India and Pakistan, offering hope for brighter days ahead in the realm of cultural and diplomatic relations.
