Pakistan T20 captain Shaheen Afridi has hinted that he is willing to wellcome back retired pacer Mohammad Amir into the Pakistan team if the pacer is ready to come out of retirement.

Shaheen hinted this during an X Space with Saya Corporation, when asked about his recent partnership with Amir in ILT20 2024 for Desert Vipers.

“I will talk to Mohammad Amir if he’s available to come back for Pakistan once again. Amir and I bowled together after almost 5 years. It was a very good experience to bowl with him, our partnership was great,” Afridi stated in a Twitter space.

The last time Mohammad Amir featured for Pakistan was in 2020. The left-armer played his final game for Pakistan against England, at the iconic Old Trafford Stadium in Manchester.
