Elderly Muslim man brutally assaulted while reciting Quran in Rajasthan
An elderly Muslim man was brutally assaulted by Hindutva goons on a train while reciting the Quran in BJP-ruled Rajasthan state of India.
The incident occurred when the victim, an Imam at a mosque, was traveling from Gangapur city in Rajasthan to Ankleshwar in Gujarat to collect donations for his madrassa.
Family members of the victim stated that a group of people boarded the train at the same station as the Imam and began making offensive remarks about Muslims. A woman called the elderly man Pakistani, which escalated the situation.
