Bangladesh beat Pakistan by 7 wickets in the first T20 International of the three-match series in Dhaka.

Earlier Bangladesh captain litton das won the toss and chose to field first, sending Pakistan to bat.

Pakistan’s innings started poorly as early wickets fell quickly. The opening pair of fakhar zaman and saim ayub began, but saim was dismissed early for just 6 runs.

Muhammad Harris, batting at number three, also fell early with 6 runs, while captain salman agha managed only 3 runs.

Only three pakistani players reach double figures, with fakhar zaman top-scoring with 44 runs, including six fours and a six.

Taskin ahmed took three wickets for Bangladesh.

In reply, Bangladesh comfortably chased the target of 111 runs in 15.3 overs.

Parvez hossain remained unbeaten on 56, hitting 3 fours and 5 sixes, supported by towhid hridoy’s 36 runs.

For pakistan, salman mirza took two wickets.

Parvez hossain was named player of the match.
