At least eight people, including five civilians and three attackers, were killed in a “terrorist attack” targeting a judiciary building in southeastern Iran, according to state media reports.

Unknown gunmen stormed judges’ chambers at the judiciary centre in Zahedan, the capital of southeastern Sistan Baluchistan province, according to the judiciary’s Mizan Online.

The attack left five people dead and 13 others injured, according to official sources. In a separate report, the state-run IRNA news agency confirmed that three assailants were also killed during the incident.
