WASHINGTON – August 14, 2025: US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has congratulated Pakistan on its 78th Independence Day.
In his message on the occasion, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said that the people of Pakistan are celebrating Independence Day. Congratulating the people, Rubio said that the United States appreciates Pakistan’s initiatives on counter-terrorism and trade, and looks forward to exploring new areas of economic cooperation, including important minerals, hydrocarbons, business partnerships, which will promote a prosperous future for both Americans and Pakistanis.
