As per the directives of the Chief of Army Staff, one day’s ration on behalf of Pakistan Army is being delivered to the needy people in flood affected areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The rescue operation of Pakistan Army and Frontier Corps North is continuing in various flood-hit areas of Buner, Shangla and Swat.

More troops of the Pakistan Army reached the flood-affected areas last night and took over relief efforts.

The contingents of Corps of Engineers also started work along with equipment, while Pakistan Army helicopters are busy in the rescue missions despite bad weather conditions.

The doctors of Pakistan Army doctors have also set up medical camps in the affected areas where free medicines are being distributed.
