Pakistan has expressed concerns over “war posturing” by India, following a large-scale drone exercise conducted by New Delhi. The exercise, named “Drone Prahar,” was held in Agartala on August 18 and showcased the integration of high-tech drones into the Indian Armed Forces.

These exercises are part of India’s military modernization efforts, which began after the country’s “embarrassing defeat” at the hands of Pakistan during a conflict referred to as “Operation Sindoor.” During that operation, the Indian Air Force reportedly lost several fighter jets and resorted to using drones to minimize further losses.

India’s continued war posturing is jeopardizing regional peace, and Pakistan has repeatedly warned the international community about New Delhi’s “hegemonic designs.” The ongoing tensions and military drills are seen as a continuation of a pattern that puts stability in the region at stake.
