Lucman Connects Global Politics to Pakistan’s Local Realities
(Baaghi TV) – October 7, 2025: Renowned journalist and analyst Mubasher Lucman addressed a range of political and social issues in his latest vlog titled “India, the United States and Israel – The Truth and Your Questions.” In the interactive session, Lucman responded to questions sent by viewers via WhatsApp, emphasizing that audio messages are preferred for clarity and conciseness.
At the outset, Lucman expressed his intention to continue responding to the public’s concerns directly and to promote a culture of informed discussion. He reiterated that his platform serves as a space for citizens to ask bold and complex questions about regional politics, governance, and religion.

Middle East Conflict and Israel–Hamas Tensions
Responding to a question on the Israel–Hamas conflict, Lucman said that while certain actions by Hamas may have unintentionally served Israel’s political and military objectives, the real devastation and civilian loss have come from Israeli strikes. He condemned the large-scale loss of human lives on both sides, describing the situation as “deeply tragic and morally complex.”
Lucman added that no major global power would allow a prolonged regional escalation, especially when two nuclear-capable states like India and Pakistan exist in the same broader theater of tension. He stressed that despite propaganda and misinformation, Pakistan’s defense capability is self-reliant, with most essential combat equipment now being locally manufactured. He also cited improving ties with Saudi Arabia as a stabilizing factor for Pakistan’s defense and diplomacy.
Defense Capabilities and the JF-35 Claim
Speaking about military preparedness, Lucman referred to reports in his vlog that Pakistan could receive JF-35 fighter aircraft later this year — though he clarified that this information remains unconfirmed and was mentioned only as part of ongoing public discussions. He assured that Pakistan’s air and naval forces are fully capable of responding to any external threat if required.
CPEC and Regional Dynamics
Discussing the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), Lucman reiterated that the project remains central to Pakistan’s long-term economic and strategic interests. He said regional powers’ unease with the initiative was expected, given its potential to shift trade routes and power balances. Lucman added that China had previously invited India to participate in CPEC, but New Delhi declined the offer, leading to further strategic distance between the two neighbors.

Citizens’ Role in Environmental Responsibility
Moving from geopolitics to domestic concerns, Mubasher Lucman emphasized the importance of individual responsibility in environmental protection and water conservation. He urged citizens to take simple but effective steps such as planting more trees and reducing daily water wastage. “Small habits can create big impact if everyone participates,” he said, admitting candidly that even in his own home, some practices were still being improved.
Clarifying the Line Between Gift and Bribe
Answering a viewer’s question about ethics and corruption, Lucman drew a clear distinction between a gift and a bribe. He explained that a gift is something exchanged freely without obligation, while a bribe is given in anticipation of favors, positions, or power. “If something is offered in exchange for influence or benefit, it ceases to be a gift,” he remarked.
On Islamic Laws and the Usury System
In another candid response, the veteran journalist stated that as long as usury (interest-based systems) remains active in the economy, Pakistan cannot claim to be an Islamic state. “The elimination of interest is an essential condition if we truly want to follow Islamic economic principles,” he said, noting that this was his personal stance, expressed in response to a viewer’s question.

Illegal Immigration and Local Governance
On internal governance issues, Lucman acknowledged the growing complaints about illegal immigrants, warning that unchecked activities can damage Pakistan’s reputation internationally. He urged authorities to implement fair but firm action where necessary.
He also underlined the importance of local governments, saying that “real policy solutions and community progress begin at the local level, not in high offices.” He maintained that while political reform is needed, political parties often resist full transparency, fearing the loss of influence in a reformed system.
Throughout the vlog, Mubasher Lucman maintained a tone of reflection and realism, urging his audience to stay informed, think critically, and engage responsibly in national discussions. His session closed with an assurance that he would continue answering public questions through upcoming vlogs.
