ISLAMABAD (Baaghi TV) – October 7, 2025: Security forces have successfully foiled a potential terror plot in Mir Ali, recovering a massive cache of weapons, ammunition, and explosives during an intelligence-based operation (IBO).
According to security officials, the operation was launched after credible intelligence reports indicated the movement of a suspicious trolley in the area. The forces quickly cordoned off the location and intercepted the vehicle before it could proceed further.

During the search, a large stockpile of arms and explosives was recovered. The Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team was immediately called to the site and safely neutralized several dangerous items on the spot.
Items destroyed at the location included:
- 16 RPG shells
- 3 Russian-type high explosive grenades
- 7 additional HE grenades
- 1 anti-personnel mine
- 3 manufactured IEDs
- 20 kg of explosive material
- 5 rounds of 81mm mortar ammunition
- 15 shotgun rounds
- 23 RPG-7 booster charges
- 6 IED fuses

In addition, several heavy weapons and ammunition have been seized for forensic analysis, including:
- 3 RPG-7 launchers
- 1 heavy machine gun barrel
- 1 rusted 12.7mm gun body
- 2 extra heavy machine gun barrels
- 1 submachine gun-mounted grenade launcher (UBGL) kit
- 1 rocket launcher body (nature under verification)
- 1 tripod mount
Authorities also confiscated over 30,000 rounds of ammunition, including:
- 1,445 rounds of 12.7mm AAMG bullets
- 30,400 rounds of various calibers
- 2,240 rounds for Zarkai weapons
- 190 pistol rounds

Security sources told Baaghi TV that the successful operation could mark a major breakthrough in preventing a large-scale attack planned in the region. Evidence has been preserved and sent for detailed forensic testing.
