November 5, 2025: On the occasion of Gurpurab, the pro-Khalistan organization Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) issued a statement declaring its support for Pakistan in the event of any future armed conflict with India.
In a message marking the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the group’s leadership said it would “stand shoulder to shoulder with Pakistan to defend its people and sovereignty” if hostilities were initiated by the Indian state.

The statement, released on Monday, said: “On this sacred Gurpurab, Sikhs for Justice stands firm and united — we will defend the people of Pakistan against any act of aggression or war initiated by the Indian state.”
Citing Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recent remarks and statements attributed to India’s military leadership, SFJ accused New Delhi of “war rhetoric” and warned that the Sikh community would not remain silent “in the face of oppression.”

The group linked its position to the teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, emphasizing that “the message of Guru Nanak is not silence in the face of injustice, but fearless resistance and defense of human dignity.”
It further stated that, “In the spirit of truth, justice, and equality, SFJ vows to oppose war, defend the oppressed, and stand for peace through justice.”
The statement comes amid renewed tensions between Pakistan and India, with both sides trading sharp diplomatic exchanges in recent weeks. Officials in Islamabad have not yet commented on SFJ’s declaration.
