Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has arrived in Ashgabat on a two-day official visit to Turkmenistan.
Upon his arrival at Ashgabat International Airport, the Prime Minister and the accompanying Pakistani delegation were warmly received by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Head of Transport and Communications, Mammetkhan Chakyyev.
He is undertaking this visit at the invitation of Turkmenistan President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
During the visit, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will hold a bilateral meeting with President Serdar Berdimuhamedov today.
The Prime Minister will also participate in a high-level forum being held tomorrow in connection with the International Year of Peace and Trust 2025, the International Day of Neutrality, and the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar, Federal Minister for Power Sardar Awais Khan Leghari, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar, and Special Assistants Tariq Fatemi and Talha Burki are accompanying the Prime Minister.
