BOSTON (1st Nov, 2019): Scientists prove sleep helps clean toxins from the human brain.

According to details (an article published in Wired), the team of scientists have run a series of successful tests in Boston University’s lab. They have reportedly confirmed that sleep helps to clean toxins from the brain. The human brain goes through through several phases when we sleep.

The brain travels from a light slumber to a deep sleep that feels like we’ve fallen unconscious, to rapid eye movement (REM) sleep, when we’re more likely to have dreams.

On the other hand, Lewis and team of scientists have specifically looked into healthy young adults. Moreover, they have not revealed.

Reportedly, sleep also helps to open new avenues for treating and preventing neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimer’s. Be clear that, toxins can only be cleaned during sleep.

In conclusion, the scientists have showen different benefits of sleep and proved that sleep helps clean toxins from the human brain.
