Martin Scorsese Stands by Critique
NEW YORK (5th Nov, 2019): Oscar-winning filmmaker, Martin Scorsese, has defended Marvel remarks in an opinion story published by New York Times.
According to the New York Times, the Irish filmmaker has clarified and reiterated his opinion about Marvel movies, asserting that they are not cinema. Moreover, he has added that while he doesn’t have aversion to the movies, they are also not for him.

Reportedly, he describes the franchise filmmaking as “audience-tested, revetted market-researched and remodified until they are ready for consumption.”
Be clear that, Scorsese sparked a heated debate last month after saying that Marvel Studio films were more theme parks than movies.
