Asad Umer in conversation with Mubasher Lucman

Islamabad (12th Feb 2020): Mubasher Lucman Official YouTube channel presents conversation between former Finance Minister, Asad Umer, with senior talkshow host, Mubasher Lucman.

The video shows a direct question put up by the senior anchor person Mubasher Lucman on the current inflation being faced by the people of Pakistan. According to PTI’s minister Asad Umer, there are more than one reasons for the current price hike in the country. One of the main reasons is the increase in the prices of the commodities in the international market, the second being the devaluation of our currency and the third reason is not controlling the things fully on ground.

Prime minister Imran Khan is bent upon controlling this sudden increase in the prices, to which he has appointed special people to bring down the prices immediately and the first step he has taken is to approve a 15 billion package for the Utility Stores country wide. Next, a target has been set by Imran Khan in the recent cabinet meeting to bring down the prices of sugar, flour, ghee and pulses to a reasonable amount.

According to Asad Umer in this video, prime minister Imran khan is taking all the possible measures to fight inflation and to hold accountable the people responsible for the false shortage of wheat and flour in Pakistan.

Asad Umer confesses in this video about some administrative errors done by the government in handling the prices of the retail items and he states that the prime minister Imran Khan is fixated to amend this situation as soon as possible.

He also pointed out that shortcomings are unavoidable and could be done by anyone but the way a campaign has been carried out to present the PTI government and their flaws is very disturbing and upsetting. Many sectors are being improved under this government but some people are showing the negative side more, which needs to be discouraged.
