The crew and passengers are operated in accordance with the international rules and regulations laid down by the quarantine. Thus the number of passengers cannot go beyond a certain limit.

According to a limited estimate, about 35,000 Pakistanis want to return home. On return, passengers will be quarantined for 48 hours, all passengers will have to go through a testing phase. Those who test positive will be kept in the hospital.

Pakistan’s ambassador and high commissioner to foreign countries are responsible for compiling a priority list of stranded passengers. In this regard, coherent, comprehensive, and actionable instructions have been issued to the concerned agencies and Pakistani embassies abroad.

The day and night efforts of all concerned authorities, including doctors, medical staff, law enforcement agencies, and the civil administration, have increased testing and quarantine arrangements to enable more Pakistanis to return home.
