IAF fighter aircraft crashes in Indian Punjab. pilots safe. It was MiG-29 crashed near Rurki Kalan village in Nawanshehr district and the pilot successfully ejected and Hospitalised in Hoshiarpur for check-up. Today at 1045h, one Mig-29 aircraft on a training mission from an Air Force base near Jalandhar met with an accident. The aircraft had developed a technical snag. A Court of Inquiry has been ordered to investigate the cause of accident. The villagers of Hoshiyarpur immediately rescuing pilot who fell on ground after safely ejecting mid-air from crashed MiG 29 aircraft.
