Domestic flight operations resumed in the country from five major airports on Saturday, a day after the government decided to further ease the lockdown measures amid the coronavirus outbreak.
Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) and SereneAir are operating the domestic flight operations which resumed from May 16 (today).
SereneAir also took its first flight today after a long break, however, SOPs were strictly being observed to avoid the spread of the coronavirus.
SereneAir announces special flights from May 16
As per details, the first flight by SereneAir left for Islamabad from Karachi earlier this afternoon. The pilots, as well as, the cabin crew staff were wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) gear and all other preventive measures were taken care of.
