Lahore, 2nd June: The Provincial Minister for School Education Murad Raas while addressing a press conference said that 110 model schools are being built in 11 districts.

According to Raas, rooms of two thousand schools are to be built and by July, 1000 rooms will be built. These projects were stalled due to the corona pandemic.

There has always been a problem with books. A control room has been set up by Punjab Textbook. 10 teams will check the syllabus of books on a daily basis.

Murad Raas stated that schools are not open at all, and no school is allowed to open until notification. As long as the coronavirus is present, fees will be reduced by 20%.

The minister said, “There is a risk of the spread of coronavirus due to the reopening of the school. We cherish the lives of our children and teachers. Private school owners are making profits despite charging fees. Only the school offices are opened in such a situation.”

Parents should submit school fees and make it possible for employers to pay salaries to the teachers. If parents cannot pay private school fees, government schools are present. Books will be delivered to all students in the next 2 to 3 weeks and SOPs will be set up to collect the books.
