ISLAMABAD: At the behest of the Prime Minister, measures have been initiated for unemployed Overseas Pakistanis, Zulfi Bukhari has become active.

According to the sources, due to corona virus the news came that overseas Pakistanis are unemployed. At the behest of the Prime Minister steps are taken for them now.

According to sources, a meeting was held under the chairmanship of Special Assistant for Overseas Pakistanis Zulfi Bukhari in which Sania Nishtar, Moeed Yousuf, Usman Dar and officials of important institutions participated.

Overseas Employment and Overseas Pakistanis Foundation officials were also present in the meeting. The meeting discussed the plan to re-integrate the skilled workers into the workforce. For this, it was decided to seek assistance from successful youth, Ehsas program and technical training institutes.

It was informed in the briefing that 200,000 Pakistani workers have lost their jobs due to the Corona pandemic. It is necessary to provide employment to the skilled workers returning home. The meeting also considered providing financial assistance to overseas Pakistanis who have been unemployed for months.

How much will salaries increase? Disclosed in Federal Budget

Special Assistant Zulfi Bukhari said that complete data of overseas Pakistanis is being collected, we are fully aware of the difficulties of our compatriots in difficult situations, the Prime Minister wants to provide facilities to Pakistani workers.

Zulfi Bukhari said that Pakistani workers would be made part of the workforce again, with their safe return to home providing employment is also a priority of the government.
