Saturday, Jun 13th: According to a report by Baaghi TV, government employees started protesting against the non-increase in salaries in the federal budget.
Railway employees protest in Lahore, the provincial capital of Punjab. Inayat Gujjar, President Railway Union, led a protest in the engine shed. On this occasion, Inayat Gujjar said that we reject the oppressive budget and our protest will continue till there is no increase in our salaries in proportion to inflation.
A symbolic procession was also held on the occasion. Railway employees also stopped the protest train engine. A large number of railway employees participated in the protest.
Railway employees said that this was the first budget in which salaries were not increased even though inflation has increased. If salaries are not increased then we will jam the wheels of railways across the country. Oppressive policies will not be tolerated, we will take to the streets to take our right, today’s demonstration is a message to the government
