New York deaths were “the lowest so far,” Governor Andrew Cuomo said, as new cases rose in line with the weekly average.

Florida reported its biggest one-day jump in infections since late April.

According to the details, New York has recorded the lowest number of deaths since the outbreak of the coronavirus. On Saturday, state Governor Andrew Cuomo said there had been 32 deaths the previous day.

He also said that the number of patients admitted to hospitals was much lower than in March.

Mexico, Chile and Argentina had record new infections while Peru posted its deadliest day yet. Brazil’s toll is now second-highest in the world.
