ISLAMABAD: For the first time in history, the Prime Minister has become a protector instead of being a burden to the national treasury.

According to reports, for the first time in the history of the country, the Prime Minister has become a protector instead of being a burden to the national treasury. Instead of misusing the national treasury, he made a history of trust and feeling.

According to sources, instead of indulging in luxuries from the national treasury, the Prime Minister has made a history of trust and sense. It has come to light that Prime Minister Imran Khan pays all the expenses of his residence out of his own pocket.

It is learned that the Prime Minister himself pays the salaries of the servants, payment of bills and expenses incurred on the security of the residence. The office of the Prime Minister has also become a role model for savings. The number of employees in the office reached its lowest level in history. In one year, the Prime Minister’s Office saved more than 180 million rupees and returned it to the national treasury.

On the other hand, the Sharifs had poured Rs 8 billion from the national exchequer in the name of security during their tenure. For the first time in the history of the country, there is not a single camp office of the Prime Minister apart from their own office, while the Sharif brothers being the prime minister and the chief minister, had set up about a dozen camp offices from the national exchequer.

The camp offices of the former rulers were spread to Islamabad, Raiwind, Model Town and Murree. Zardari and Gilani had set up camp offices from Islamabad to Multan and Karachi.

Even during foreign tours, Prime Minister Imran Khan is at the forefront of austerity and minimum spending. When Imran Khan went to Washington as Prime Minister, he completed his five-day visit for just 67,180. In May 2009, the former president Asif Ali Zardari spent 752,688 dollars on his two-day visit to Washington.

In October 2013, when Nawaz Sharif went to Washington for 3 days, he flew 549,853 dollars. In September 2019, Prime Minister Imran Khan completed his official visit to New York for only 162,578 dollars, while Zardari spent 139,620, Nawaz Sharif 1,113,142 and Shahid Khaqan Abbasi 75,019 on their respective tours of New York.

Prime Minister Imran Khan has spread the culture of guarding the national treasury to all government agencies. All ministries have been given special instructions to minimize administrative expenses and save money and return it to the national treasury. Large convoys of government vehicles abolished and the remittances for hospitality in ministries abolished, the Prime Minister set a practical example of spending every penny on the care of the poor.
