Boris Johnson, former UK Foreign Secretary, has been selected as new Prime Minister of United Kingdom after securing the leadership of Conservative Party on Tuesday.

According to reports of Baaghitv, Boris Johnson defeated Jeremy Hunt in the leadership race of Conservative Party. Johnson won the votes of 92,153 members of the Conservative party, to 46,656 votes, gained by Foreign Secretary Jeremy Hunt.

Boris Johnson, who has long supported a Brexit deal and has vowed to lead country out of the European Union whether with a deal or without a deal by Halloween, will replace Theresa May, who announced resignation following her failure to secure a Brexit deal.

US President Donald Trump congratulated Johnson on his victory as leader of Britain’s Conservative Party and the next prime minister of United Kingdom and tweeted,  He will be great.
