According to the officer, the government has given financial powers of up to Rs 500 crore to the deputy chiefs of the three armies for immediate and emergency procurement of arms.
In eastern Ladakh, China is increasing its number of troops, which necessitates financial support for the military.Large numbers of troops have been deployed along the 3,500 kilometre border with China.
According to Al-Qamar Online, similar financial powers were given to the Armed Forces after the attack against Pakistan and the Balakot airstrikes. The Indian Air Force then bought a large number of weapons, these weapons included the SPICE-2000 and other missiles.
