Effective injection of Decadron (dexamethasone) used in the treatment of coronavirus thwarted smuggling to Afghanistan.
Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal’s Special Committee on Health raided a warehouse and foiled the smuggling of 95,000 injections from Quetta to Afghanistan.
According to the reports, the committee headed by Chairman Dr. Naseem Katkizai raided the warehouse on Airport Road and seized 95,000 injection of Decadron.
The injections were being smuggled illegally from Quetta to neighbouring country Afghanistan, who have been taken into custody and charged.
The committee also arrested one accused present on the spot while the total value of the recovered injection is said to be in millions.
