ISLAMABAD, July 8 (online): The federal ministry of religious affairs has solicited opinion from Council for Islamic Ideology (CII) on the provision of funds for construction of temple in federal capital.

CII  has been asked   whether government can build  place of worship for Non-Muslims  out of its  funds or otherwise ?

The chairman CII Dr Qibla Ayaz has directed the department of research of council that they should  establish their opinion on this question as soon as possible so that the matter could be  put forward before  top body  of the council  in its coming session which is likely to be held at the beginning of September.

The chairman has requested the religious scholars and experts that now they should guide the council on this vital national  and religious issue rather than going for protest.
