SARGODHA, July 9 (APP): Two notorious dacoits who were involved in heinous crimes including killing police personal were killed in alleged police encounter while one fled in Tehsil Kot Momin.
According to police the three dacoits snatched the motorcycle from a person named Sarfaraz and fled the scene.
The police acted swiftly under SHO Khuda Baksh and surrounded the dacoits. The two dacoits got killed by the firing of their own companions and one fled the scene.
The police have barricaded the area claiming the third dacoit will soon be arrested.
The dacoits who were killed were identified as Amir Shahzad and Waqas.
The dead bodies of the dacoits have been handed over to family members after postmortem.
