The Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport administration has taken safety measures in view of the third spell of monsoon rain in the metropolis.

According to details, the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has issued an alert at the Jinnah International Airport under the third spell of the monsoon. CAA staff has been directed to take steps to deal with any situation.

Following the alert issued by the CAA, necessary steps were taken at Jinnah Terminal and Terminal 1 of the airport. The CAA has instructed to add the weight of the small planes and helicopters and move other aircraft to the hangar as a safety precaution.

The airport manager says some planes are being moved to hangars to protect them from strong winds. All sorts of procedures have been taken for the safety of the aircraft.

Earlier this month, on July 5, Civil Aviation had completed security arrangements at the airport to protect aircraft and passengers from heavy rains and dust storms.
