Tragic bus accident killed 5 and left 61 injured

According to the report of Baaghi TV, the bus number FDQ 9996 of a private company traveling from Arifwala to Faisalabad overturned due to high speed near Sahiwal bypass.

Five people were killed and 61 were injured in the crash, which left several others in critical condition. As soon as the accident was reported, rescue teams rushed to the spot and started transporting the dead and injured to the District Headquarters and Teaching Hospital.

On the other hand, the hospital management said that all the staff in the hospital have been alerted and senior doctors and support staff including MS are present in the ward. All possible medical aid is being provided to the injured.

According to eyewitnesses, the driver of the unfortunate bus could not control the bus due to high speed and wrong overtaking. The bus went off the road and hit a tree, and all the passengers were trapped inside because the bus overturned.

People present on the spot said that the screams and prayers of the injured showed the scene of the Day of Judgment.

It should be noted that the road from Sahiwal to Arifwala is in a state of disrepair and accidents occur on a daily basis.
