Lahore, 10th August: Film-maker Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy and Maheen Sadiq’s short film has bagged them the Emmy nomination.
According to the Baaghi TV report, Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy’s documentary ‘Freedom Fighters’ has bagged a nomination at the 41st Annual News and Documentary Emmy Awards for ‘Best Feature Story in a News Magazine’.

The duo has co-directed and produced the documentary titled ‘Freedom Fighters’, which is about women speaking out against inequality.
‘Freedom Fighters’ is the story of three brave women: a former child bride, a police officer, and a labor crusader who are pushing for equal rights in their country.
