KARACHI: Emirates Airlines has announced an increase in the number of passenger flights to Pakistan from today, which will be increased to 60 flights per week.
The addition of the service will allow customers to access more than 70 locations on the existing network via Dubai.
The airline will not only increase its flights to Karachi, Islamabad, Lahore and Sialkot airports, but also provide maximum access to its extensive network to customers around the world by restoring its services in Peshawar.
Emirates will operate 53 flights a week to Pakistan, which will be increased to 60 flights by August 16. All flights will be operated by Emirates Boeing 777-300 ER aircraft. Flights can be booked through Emirates.com or travel agents.
Under the increase in services, the airline will operate 21 flights to Karachi, which will be increased to 28 weekly flights from August 16. In addition, 10 flights will be operated every week to Islamabad, 7 to Sialkot, 10 to Lahore and 5 to Peshawar.
However, the airline has reminded customers that travel restrictions will remain in place and passengers will only be allowed to board the plane if they meet the travel eligibility and conditions.
Customers can travel to Dubai or take a stopover as Dubai is now reopened to international business and leisure travelers regardless of which country the passengers are coming from, Dubai or UAE coronavirus PCR test is mandatory for all incoming and transit passengers, including UAE citizens, residents and tourists.
