According to the reports of Baaghi TV, the court has ruled on the disqualification petition of Federal Minister Khusro Bakhtiar, in the Lahore Registry of the Supreme Court.

The court rejected the disqualification petition of Federal Minister Khusro Bakhtiar and the disqualification petition of Punjab Finance Minister Hashim Javan Bakht.

Petitioner Ahsan Abid had filed the petition accusing Federal Minister for Economic Affairs Khusro Bakhtiar and his brother Hashim Javanbakht of making assets in excess of their income and not disclosing them.

The petition contends that the two brothers made assets in excess of their income and did not disclose them, while the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Multan has also been asked to take action against them. The court directed NAB to decide the pending petition within three months as per the law, but NAB Multan has now directed NAB Lahore to take further action.

The petitioner said that the progress of the inquiry was also not being communicated. The assets of the two brothers are more than one hundred billion, Khusro Bakhtiar and Hashim Javan Bakht Sadiq and Amin are no more.

The petitioner, while appealing to the Supreme Court, took the position that the court should also order to file a reference against Makhdoom Khusro Bakhtiar and his brother and add their names to the Exit Control List (ECL). Disqualify under Article 63 of the Constitution.
