ISLAMABAD, August 13 (Online): Ambassador of Qatar to Pakistan Sheikh Saoud Bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, has congratulated and prayed for security, stability, prosperity and development of Pakistan on the occasion of 74th independence day of Pakistan.
In his message he has said “On the occasion of the 74th Independence Day of Islamic Republic of Pakistan, I am pleased to extend, on my own behalf and on behalf of the government and people of the State of Qatar, warmest greetings and sincere congratulation to the Government of Pakistan and dear Pakistani brothers.
The relations between the State of Qatar and Pakistan are built on firm and solid foundations, in which mutual respect and common values prevailed. The bonds of cooperation between our two countries have expanded over time in all fields: political, cultural, economic, commercial and defence.
Pakistan, as it enters its seventy-fourth year, has achieved much despite difficult circumstances and various challenges. As I congratulate Pakistan and its people on this happy occasion, I would like to reiterate that the State of Qatar stands with Pakistan, and I hope that the close existing ties between the State of Qatar and Pakistan will witness further development over the coming years, and the State of Qatar will continue to work with Pakistan in order to achieve the common goals with in the interest of both countries and brotherly people.
