Lahore, 21st August: Punjab Government has issued timings for the businesses to operate in Lahore.

According to reports of Baaghi TV, all businesses will be allowed to operate from8 am to 10 pm but clinics, pharmacies, and groceries have been exempted from the timing, says an official handout.

A meeting was held on the instructions of Chief Minister Usman Buzdar on Thursday, where this decision was taken.

Law Minister Raja Basharat chaired the meeting and Minister for Industries Aslam Iqbal, the chief secretary, additional chief secretary (home), the industries secretary, and other respective officials were also present on the occasion.

The meeting not only approved the new timings for the businesses and shopping centers but also suggested to send recommendations to the National Command and Control Center (NCOC) to soften the restrictions.

Keeping in view the decreasing number of coronavirus cases reported in the city, the restrictions can be levied, however, it did not mean lowering the guards against the pandemic. Wearing masks in bazaars and markets would stay compulsory.
