Covid-19: 9 more people lost their lives in Pakistan

Baaghi TV: Nine more people have lost their lives in Pakistan due to Corona virus, bringing the total number of deaths to 6,244.

According to the National Command and Operations Center, 23,655 tests were conducted in the country during the last 24 hours and 496 new cases of Corona were reported.

The number of corona cases in Pakistan has reached 293,261 and the active cases are only 10,188. Across the country, 276,829 Corona victims have recovered.

Sindh tops the list with 1,28,284 corona cases while Punjab has 96,233 people affected. 35 thousand 766 cases have been reported in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 15 thousand 515 in Islamabad and 12 thousand 527 in Balochistan. The number of corona cases in Azad Kashmir is 2,254 and in Gilgit it is 2,682.

The corona virus has caused 2,188 deaths in Punjab and 2,367 in Sindh. The death toll from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is 1,248, Islamabad 175, Balochistan 141, Gilgit-Baltistan 64 and Azad Kashmir 61.

There are 132 testing laboratories operating in the country. And trace, test and quarantine strategies are working effectively in many cities.

According to the government, the graph of corona virus cases in Pakistan is constantly coming down, but the threat is not over yet.

The first death was reported from Corona in Pakistan on March 18. The highest number of 153 deaths was reported in the country on June 23 when Corona reached its peak. But now Corona’s graph is falling sharply.

The first case of corona in Pakistan was registered on February 26 and one thousand deaths occurred by May 21. The health ministry says the pace of cases has slowed, but caution is still needed.

The effects of the corona virus are rapidly declining in Pakistan, with only 6,000 cases reported in the first ten days of August, the lowest in the past.

The National Command and Operations Center (NCOC) has issued a warning for the re-emergence of Corona during Muharram. Authorities say effective measures against the corona virus during Muharram will ensure the safety and well-being of the people.
