Lahore, 25th August: New SOPs related amid the coronavirus pandemic have been issued for the domestic and international flights.
The director Air Transport Civil Aviation Authority has issued a new notification according to which new SOPs will be effective from August 26, 2020, to October 31.
Punjab govt issues SOPs for educational institutions
The notification said that all airlines, aircraft operators, ground handling agents should ensure implementation of SOPs. all operational airport managers including Lahore will be responsible for the implementation of new SOPs, and all types of protocols for passengers at all airports.
Passengers can only be dropped off in front of the departure lounge. The aircraft will be disinfected with disinfectant spray before departure.
PIA announces further reduction for domestic flights
Air hostess will be required to use PPE kits, surgical masks, and gloves from the departure of the flight.
A complete list of passengers will have to be provided to the airport managers beforehand. Before boarding the plane, the health department will test and interview the passengers.
