Lahore, 28th August: Torrential rains in the city of Quaid-e-Azam have caused havoc for a few days putting a halt to the daily life in Karachi.
Welfare organizations Al-Khidmat Foundation, Edhi, Chhepa, and others are busy in relief work. Pakistan Army, Rangers, and Navy are also busy in relief activities. Many notable personalities and celebrities of Pakistan have expressed their heartfelt concerns in this matter.

Now PML-N has become active too after Shahbaz Sharif released a statement on Twitter, his niece Maryam Nawaz did not lag behind and shared her thoughts on Twitter.

Heavy rains wreaked havoc in Karachi, disrupting life. Numerous roads and highways in the city are full of water, which is causing severe hardships to the people.
Many people are stranded in different places due to heavy rains. Army Flood Emergency Control Center has been set up in Karachi. Relief and rescue operations are underway in Karachi and Hyderabad.
