2nd September: The Israeli Prime Minister had paid a secret visit to the United Arab Emirates in 2018 with the head of Mossad.

According to reports, Netanyahu and Mossad paid a secret visit to the UAE in 2018 and met with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayed.

The Israeli website Ynet quoted a report in the Hebrew-language newspaper ‘Yedioth Ahronoth’ as saying that Netanyahu was accompanied by Mossad chief Yossi Cohen on his 2018 visit to the United Arab Emirates.

The report claimed that Mossad had arranged a meeting with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan of the United Arab Emirates.

Citing diplomatic sources, the report said that the meeting was a success and that the two sides maintained close ties since then.

Ben Shabat, an adviser to the Israeli National Security Council, met with UAE and US officials in Washington in 2019, the report said.

Saudi prince reportedly cancels meeting with Netanyahu

According to the news, the Israeli Ambassador to the United States also attended the talks between UAE and Israel.

The office of Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu did not respond to a request for comment but said in a press conference that Information about his meetings with is yet to come.

“I have met with many leaders in the UAE and in the Muslim world, there are a lot of things I can’t say but I’m sure they will be clear at the right time,” he said. Referring to meetings with Arab leaders, he said that the melting snow could be seen in recent years.
