Lionel Messi decides not to leave FC Barcelona

World-renowned footballer and captain of Argentina’s national team Lionel Messi has announced that he will not leave Barcelona.

Lionel Messi has been representing Barcelona for 20 years and recently Messi announced his departure from the Barcelona club but now he has given up. Messi has now announced that he will not be leaving Barcelona following the heavy terms of his contract and will be seen representing Barcelona next season.

“I will stay with the club because I have been told by the club president that I can leave the club only if I pay 700 million euros, which is impossible,” said Lionel Messi in a statement.

Messi began his professional career at the same club in 2005. Messi led Barcelona to 10 La Liga titles, four UEFA Championships and six Copa del Rey victories.
