Baaghi TV: A two-storey building collapsed near a coal warehouse in Bihar Colony, Lyari, Karachi. Two people were killed and 12 others were injured when they were crushed under the rubble.
As soon as the incident was reported, rescue personnel rushed to the spot and started the rescue operation with the help of locals. According to rescue officials, 2 bodies and 12 injured people have been recovered from the rubble of the collapsed building. More people are reported trapped in the wreckage. One of the dead was identified as Jan Mohammad, a laborer.
Rescue operations are underway by rescue agencies and area residents. According to the residents of the area, a building was being constructed adjacent to the collapsed building for which the foundations of the collapsed building were damaged due to shoal. Residents say the contractor and shoal’s driver fled the scene immediately after the building collapsed.
