Kangana Ranaut hits back at Jaya Bachchan
Mumbai, 16th September: Indian actress Kangana Ranaut has lashed out at Samajwadi Party MP and wife of legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan for making a statement against her.
According to Indian media reports, Jaya Bachchan, a Member of Parliament, had made a statement against Kangana Ranaut in the Rajya Sabha.
Speaking in the Rajya Sabha on a statement, Jaya Bachchan took a dig at Kangana, without taking her name and said that it was an utter shame that people who earned their living from the industry are now calling it a “gutter”.

Pinkvilla reported that Jaya Bachchan said, “Just because there are some people, you can’t tarnish the image of the entire industry. I am ashamed that yesterday one of our members in Lok Sabha, who is from the film industry, spoke against it. It is a shame.”
Kangana Ranaut took a dig at the veteran actress and asked if she would react the same if it were her children instead of Kangana.
Reacting to Jaya Bachchan’s statement, Kangana Ranaut wrote on her Twitter account, “Jaya Ji! Would you say the same thing if your daughter Shweta was beaten, dragged and desecrated in my place?”
